MA Scholarships: School of Philosophy

The School of Philosophy at the University of East Anglia is offering a number of scholarships for Master of Arts applicants starting in September 2013.

The UEA School of Philosophy stands out through its range of distinctive research strengths. These include original, interdisciplinary work at the intersection of philosophy and linguistics, literature, environmental sciences, economics, and cognitive psychology, as well as innovative work in competing philosophical methodologies and in philosophical-historical scholarship. In postgraduate teaching, the School collaborates in particular with UEA’s internationally leading Schools of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing, Environmental Sciences, and Economics.

MA Courses
Our MA courses are offered on a one-year full-time or two-year part-time basis:

  • MA/MSc Environmental Sciences and Humanities
  • MA Philosophy and Literature
  • MRes Philosophy

MA Scholarships
There are a range of scholarships available for September 2013, including the prestigious Fitzmaurice Scholarship; tuition fee scholarship available to a UK/EU student. To view the full range of scholarships available please see our website.

How to Apply for a Scholarship
To be considered for an award, you need to make an application for an MA course. You do not need to submit a separate application form to be considered for a scholarship. Applications must be made no later than 1 March 2013.
