GOGO Charters National Scholarship for Immigrants and Refugees

The 2018 GOGO  Charters Scholarship is now Open. This scholarship is exclusively for immigrants and refugees to USA. The goal of the Gogo Charters National scholarship is to help first generation immigrants and refugees in USA a chance to attend the American Dream. The Scholarship offers up to $10,000 per year for up to one academic year and can be used at any accredited public, private, technical college or university in the United States. A minimum of one award will be made each year.

To Qualify for the Gogo Charters Scholarship, you must be the following criteria:

  • First-generation U.S. citizens (born outside the US), refugees, or immigrants (legal documentation is not required)
  • Currently enrolled – or high school senior intending to enroll – in an accredited 2-year or 4-year college/university as a full-time undergraduate student. High school seniors intending to enroll are also eligible.
  • Short essay (presented in writing, or video or audio) explaining how scholarship would help you achieve your goals.
  • Most recent transcript showing GPA of 3.4 or greater.

How to Apply for Gogo Charters Scholarship

 

Application must be submitted online at the form on this page. You will be prompted to provide your information as well as the name and email address of one recommender. Recommenders will be notified by email through the system and will be asked to submit their recommendations online on or before July 5, 2017.
