Advancing Women in STEM Scholarship for Women

Income equity is still lacking for women at the workforce.Research shows that women earn almost 60% of all bachelor’s degrees in the United States, but they earn only 20% of computer science degrees, 20% of physics degrees, and 18% of engineering degrees.

Estimates show that by 2018, the U.S. will face a shortage of more than one million STEM workers. This presents an enormous opportunity to better support young women in pursuing STEM-related careers, and Zenefits is committed to being part of the solution

Eligibility for Advancing Women in STEM Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a woman of age 18 or older who:

• Is currently enrolled as a full-time college student in the United States

• Has completed at least one full academic year of college with a GPA of 3.0 or above

• Is pursuing a degree related to science, technology, mathematics, or engineering

• Has clearly expressed financial need to support educational goals
