Leverhulme Early Career Fellowships

The Faculty of Sciences at the University of Kent intends to support applications for Leverhulme Early Career Fellowships in 2014 from well qualified postdoctoral researchers.  A prestigious and generously funded Leverhulme fellowship provides an excellent start to an academic career.

The University of Kent is a top 20 UK University (Guardian University Guide 2014) and boasts thriving campuses at Canterbury (55 mins from London and 2 hours to Paris) and Medway (45 mins from London), as well as others in Paris and Brussels. We welcome applications in the following areas: Actuarial Science, Astrophysics, Biosciences, Chemistry, Computing, Digital Arts, Engineering, Materials, Mathematics, Pharmacy, Physics and Sports Science.

To apply for a Leverhulme Early Career fellowship at the University of Kent, please read the Leverhulme scheme notes and follow the application procedure on our fellowship website. The closing date for expressions of interest to Kent is 3rd February 2014, but we encourage applicants to contact us as soon as possible.  We will select candidates from the proposals received and work with them on their full proposals to the Leverhulme Trust (deadline 6th March 2014 for fellowships starting between 1 Sep 2014 and 1 May 2015).

For any queries, please see the University of Kent’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Website or contact science-funding@kent.ac.uk.
