Project Title: The Social Neuroscience of Self-Oriented and Team-oriented Biases – from Brain Responses to Behaviour

The project will be based around a new technique for measuring biases in basic perceptual tasks for stimuli associated with the self or with the in-group. It will examine how self-biases link to performance in solo and team activities and whether team training changes the biases in individuals. fMRI will be used to evaluate the neural basis of any effects.
