About the scholarship
BI Norwegian Business School is an internationally recognized not-for-profit private institution, located in Norway. Established in 1943, BI has one of Europe’s largest and most productive academic environments.
Committed to supporting and promoting the most qualified academic applicants to its programmes, BI has established various scholarship opportunities. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic competency.
- The BI Bachelor scholarships are intended for non-Norwegian applicants not residing in Norway. The scholarship covers one-third of the tuition fee for each year of the programme. Total value: approximately NOK 65,000.
- The Shipping industry has made funds available for scholarships as well, for students who wish to plan a career in this industry and pursue our Shipping specialisation. These scholarships consist of a full tuition fee waiver for the first year of the programme and, contingent upon above average academic performance, a 50 % tuition fee waiver for the second and the third year of the programme.

2. Upload the scholarship essay to the online application portal when you complete the application.
Please note you may apply for more than one scholarship, but BI will only award one scholarship per student.
International candidates who are eligible for a regular student loan through the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund (have at least 180 ECTS from a Norwegian educational institution) will not be considered for any of the scholarships.
