PhD Studentship in Rehabilitation Sciences (1)



Applications are invited for studentships in the field of Rehabilitation Sciences within the School of Health Sciences at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.  A number of potential topic areas are available to the successful applicant as set out below:

  • Fatigue, Function, Falls and Physical Activity in pwMS and the role of assistive technology to aid walking
  • Enhanced sensorimotor rehabilitation for patients with total knee replacement
  • The effects of external pressure on skin blood flow in the feet of people with diabetes

The position is aligned with the University’s Research Themes details of which are available on our website at the link below. The successful applicant will be working within a highly skilled team of subject experts carrying out relevant and meaningful research and will receive:

  • Full waiver of tuition fees
  • an annual stipend of £11,500 for 3 years
  • £2000 over the course of the project for expenses and travel
