The University of Bristol, Graduate School of Arts and Humanities are pleased to announce AHRC Masters Studentships to support postgraduate study in the following Arts, Humanities and Modern Languages subject areas:

  • Archaeology and Anthropology
  • Classics and Ancient History
  • Music
  • English
  • Modern Languages
  • Drama: Theatre, Film, Television
  • Historical Studies
  • Philosophy
  • Medieval Studies
  • Religion and Theology

Candidate Requirements

Suitable candidates will need an upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent). Applicants will need to apply for the programme of their choice using the online application form http://www.bristol.ac.uk/pg-howtoapply.

Funding

The masters awards cover a maximum of one year’s tuition fees (two years’ part time) at the Home/EU rate, along with an annual maintenance stipend for full time students, again for a maximum of one year (two years part time).
