Graduate Teaching Assistantship (4-year funded PhD studentship)

Applications are invited for a Graduate Teaching Assistantship in Leadership situated within the School of Management in Edinburgh Napier Business School.

The GTA award will cover tuition fees to Home/EU level and will provide a living allowance (stipend), currently £15,098 per annum. This is an exciting opportunity to study for a PhD at the same time as gaining a formal qualification, which will serve as the basis for a career in Higher Education.

Applicants should hold a first class or upper second class honours, or master’s degree in a discipline relevant to the area of study. Existing knowledge of leadership would be preferred and experience of quantitative research methods would be welcome. The successful candidate would be expected to contribute to teaching in one of the subject areas of the School of Management (e.g. strategy, entrepreneurship, HRM).
