AWI Scholarships 2018
Three (3) Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) Scholarships each to the value of $3,000 are available to students attending Longreach Pastoral College to undertake the Sheep and Wool Production course in 2018.
About Australian Wool Innovation
Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) is a not-for-profit company owned by Australia’s woolgrowers. AWI invests in research and development, extension, marketing and promotion to enhance the profitability, international competitiveness and sustainability of the Australian wool industry and increase the demand and market access for Australian wool.
AWI offers a number of scholarships for education and leadership development to support the creation of new knowledge and practices, personal growth and leadership skills within the wool industry.
Eligibility Criteria
The AWI Scholarships 2018 shall be open to candidates who:
- Are enrolled/enrolling at Longreach Pastoral College in the Sheep and Wool Production program (based on the AHC32816 Certificate III in Rural Operations course) in 2018
- Can demonstrate a clear interest in pursuing a career in sheep and wool industries
- Must be eligible to live, work and study in Australia
