The School of Design, Engineering and Computing at Bournemouth University is offering a unique PhD studentship to exceptional UK, EU and overseas graduates to join its exciting Creative Technologies Centre. The successful candidate will be focusing on the proposed PhD project to create engaging and memorable learning experiences with cutting edge interactive technologies. They will also be offered a position at Clarity, a leading digital marketing company which is match-funding the project to help launch a transformative new education project.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate passion and background in digital media and web, both on technology and art aspects. Decisions will be made on the basis of academic excellence and potential of future achievement as demonstrated in the candidate’s application, supporting references and their work on motion graphics or animation

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates for this fully-funded PhD studentship must demonstrate outstanding qualities and be motivated to complete a PhD in 3 years. All candidates must satisfy the University’s minimum doctoral entry criteria for studentships of an honours degree at Upper Second Class (2.1) and/or an appropriate Masters degree. An IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 minimum is essential for candidates for whom English is not their first language.
