Target: Latino students
Eligibility:
- Be a first-generation college student
- Be pursuing a Masters degree in Business Administration or Engineering (Students pursuing other graduate degrees may also be considered at the Foundation’s discretion.)
- Have a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Be enrolled in a graduate program full-time for the entire 2012- 2013 academic year*
- Be a permanent resident of a community listed in the Scholarship Program Guidelines
- Demonstrate financial need

Both Graduates and Undergraduates can apply for this scholarship.

An application is considered “complete” only if it is accompanied by the following documents:
1. Personal Narrative
A written statement, maximum two pages, addressing the following: TELACU’s Mission Statement is to serve, empower, advance and create self-sufficiency for communities. Whether or not you have a formalized one, please tell us about your personal mission statement. What are some of the successes you have achieved and challenges you have faced in fulfilling your mission statement, and how would this Fellowship support you in its fulfillment?
2. Letters of Recommendation
Each applicant must submit two letters of recommendation. Letters should be on organization letterhead and address the following:
- Reference’s relationship to applicant
- Length of time acquainted with applicant
- Applicant’s strengths and weaknesses
- Applicant’s goals
- Examples that elaborate on the applicant’s commitment to the community
3. Official Transcripts (from most recent college only)
4. Resume
5. A copy of one of the following filed documents verifying your or your parents’ income:
- Student Aid Report (SAR)
- FAFSA Form
- Most Recent Tax Return
