Oxford BRC Surgical Theme Fellowship

Oxford NIHR Biomedical Research Centre is offering a Fellowship, available to a clinician who wishes to undertake a clinical DPhil. The purpose of the Fellowship is to allow a radiologist, oncologist or surgeon to pursue clinical academic research in ablative therapy. The project(s) will centre on the development of targeted drug release from thermosensitive liposomes using High Intensity Focused Ultrasound. There may also be an opportunity to become involved in other trials of ablative therapies and isolated hepatic perfusion.

In addition to your medical qualification, you will have received, or be about to receive a postgraduate qualification in radiology, medicine, oncology, or surgery. You will have a national training number.
