Overview
The post arises from the continuing expansion of the Institute of Sport & Exercise Science and is the continuation of an initiative to develop teaching assistants to support full time academic staff. The post includes registration for the instituteâs taught Masters Degree programme and the completion of this will be a requirement. Expertise is sought in the area of sports science.
The person appointed will be allocated a mentor who will oversee teaching and administrative aspects of the role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to break into a career in Higher Education in a well-organised Institute. There is also an opportunity to complete a PG Cert in Higher Education Learning and Teaching.
