Master’s Scholarships

The School of International Development at the University of East Anglia are offering scholarships for UK/EU and International Master’s applicants looking to start their studies in September 2013.

The School of International Development at the University of East Anglia is a globally renowned department for teaching, research and consultancy on international development. The School is committed to making a difference and are involved in advising on policy for major global challenges such as poverty reduction and environmental sustainability. With students from over 40 countries, it is a friendly, thriving and cosmopolitan department. The School was recently awarded the prestigious Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education for research on global development in recognition of four decades of work in some of the world’s poorest countries.

Master’s Courses

Our Master’s courses are offered on a one-year full-time or part-time over two-years:

  • MA Conflict, Governance and International Development
  • MA International Development
  • MRes International Development
  • MA International Relations and Development Studies
  • MSc Water Security and International Development

Scholarships

The School are offering a number of awards, including a full tuition fee scholarship for academic excellence to both a UK/EU and International applicant. The scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of the Master’s application.

How to Apply for a Scholarship

To be considered for an award, you need to make an application for a Master’s degree. You do not need to submit a separate application form to be considered for a scholarship. Application deadlines to be considered for a scholarship vary. As a guide, International applications must have submitted and received an offer by 15 March 2013. UK/EU applications must be submitted by 3 June 2013. For full details please see our website.
