The Law School at the University of East Anglia are offering a number of scholarships for its LLM courses starting in September 2013.

The Law School offers a number of specialist Taught Masters (LLM) degrees designed to enhance students’ careers prospects. Our graduates are highly regarded by employers both in and outside the legal profession and we have well-established and excellent relationships with many local, regional, national and international law firms. Working with our students to enhance their employability and the development of legal and transferable skills are also core to all our LLM courses. Students from the Law School have progressed to a wide variety of successful careers, from private practice in local and international law firms to government legal departments and international organisations, from universities to industry and commerce.

LLM Courses

Our LLM courses are offered on a one-year full-time basis:

  • LLM Employment Law
  • LLM Information, Technology and Intellectual Property Law
  • LLM International Commercial and Business Law
  • LLM International commercial and Competition Law
  • LLM International Trade Law
  • LLM Masters of Laws
  • LLM Media Law, Policy and Practice

LLM Scholarships

The scholarships range from Academic Excellence Scholarships worth a third of course tuition fees to a 10% early application tuition fee bursary. Scholarships will be awarded on academic merit and the overall strength of the LLM application.

How to Apply for a Scholarship

To be considered for an award, you need to make an application for an LLM course. Depending on the award, you may be automatically considered for a scholarship based on your application. For others, all eligible candidates will be contacted by the admissions office and invited to apply.
