Fully Funded PhD Spaces of Dissent

Fully Funded PhD Opportunity Working with Coexist and The University Of Bristol

Application Deadline 30thseptember

Coexist and the University of Bristol are proud to announce an exciting new research opportunity. As part of the ‘Productive Margins’ programme the PhD placement will be working alongside a wide range of community organisations based in Bristol and south Wales. Coexist will be hosting one of these funded studentships and will focus on ‘spaces of dissent’. The duration of the PhD studentship is for 3 years. The research looks at the way in which community based organisations can help to “regulate for engagement” while the candidate will also aim to practically support Coexist’s development as a social enterprise. Candidates will be expected to address the themes of the spaces of dissent work stream (see also Productive Margins Case for Support: http://www.bristol.ac.uk/public-engagement/events/margins/) as well as addressing the specific needs of  Coexist to evidence  impacts, support reciprocal learning from other organisations involved in the research programme, develop how Coexist offers support and advice to other organisations.
