Applications are invited for a fully funded doctoral studentship, within an ESRC-funded research network involving Sheffield, Leeds and York Universities (which comprise the White Rose Doctoral Training Centre).
The network, entitled Reshaping Multiculturalism through Cultural Practices, will investigate the ways in which multiculturalism â as a set of ideas and ideals, practices and policies â is being reshaped by those who are most affected by it: cultural minorities. This project focuses on Multiculturalism, Gender and Sexuality. It is based at Sheffield University in the Department of Geography.

This +3 studentship offers full funding for three years; candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline and must have completed a Masters Degree with research training before beginning this doctoral programme (in October 2013).
