Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) University and college Scholarships



Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) offers a number of scholarships yearly to students in tertiary institutions in the field  of electrical or electronics concentration including electrical apprenticeship, electrical engineering technology, electrical technician, electrical engineering, supply chain management or business administration. The objective is to encourage Canadian university and college students to achieve their career objectives.

EFC  has over 40 member organizations that sponsor these scholarships. In 2012, they members sponsored over $100,000 worth of scholarships to encourage students. The donors of the scholarships indicate the programs and the requirements for each award.

Affiliated Distributors, Electrical Industry Scholarship -$3,500 – Jonah Tremblay- University of New Brunswick – Electrical Engineering-

Aztec Electrical Supply Inc. Scholarship Award -$3,500 – Peter Hauguth -Algonquin College- Electrical Engineering Technology

Burndy Canada Inc. Academic Achievement Award -$3,500- Joseph Yumo- Southern Alberta Institute of Technology-  Electrical Engineering Technician

Cooper Industries Scholarship Award -$3,500- Taylor Drummond- Holland College- Industrial Electrical Technician

Eaton Award of Academic Excellence -$3,500– William Paish -Medicine Hat College- Electrician

GE Canada Community Leadership Award -$3,500- Michael Kakulphimp- University of Victoria- Electrical Engineering

Gerrie Electrical Memorial Scholarship Awards- 2 x $1,750

Dane Shumak- Trent University- Bachelor of Business Administration

Nikola Repar- Conestoga College- Business & Management
