AHRC Research Preparation Masters Studentship – Philosophy



The University of Reading invites applications from well qualified students for an AHRC Research Preparation Masters Studentship to commence in 2013 in the area of Philosophy.

Study will be based within the Department of Philosophy, part of the thriving Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science which has a strong interdisciplinary tradition and attracts large numbers of undergraduate and graduate students from the UK and overseas.

Eligibility:
UK students who satisfy certain residency criteria are eligible for awards covering fees at the Home/EU rate and provide a maintenance grant in line with the national level set by the UK Research Councils. Students from EU countries other than the UK who satisfy certain residency criteria are eligible to apply for fees-only awards. Many Schools and Departments also offer supplementary funding in the form of bursaries and opportunities for teaching and research support.

Candidates need to complete both an application form for admission to a Postgraduate Degree at the University of Reading and a separate application form for a studentship.
