Eligibility:

Available to Any national.

This scholarship is award to students who are Master’s or Doctoral candidates in Civil Engineering on the Fredericton campus of the University of New Brunswick whose research project shows promise with regard to its application for industrial waste water treatment. Recipients of this award may re-apply in subsequent years so long as they remain eligible.

Selection will be based upon a) Academic records/marks; b) English proficiency; c) Potential for employment in the industrial waste water treatment field; d) Letters of commendation from academic references; e) Publications.

Application process:

Applications should be submitted to the Department of Civil Engineering and should include

1) Candidate’s letter of application briefly describing the research project,

2) a letter of support from the supervisor,

3) undergraduate and graduate transcripts. The decision of this award will be made by a committee consisting of at least three members (drawn from ADI and UNB).
