This scholarship was established by Douglas McRorie Memorial Scholarship in honour of past-president and agri-finance leader of AIC Foundation, Douglas McRorie, PAg, FAIC. The target is for students studying agricultural studies at post-graduates level majoring in agricultural business, economics, finance or trade. This scholarship is made available through the support of the RBC Foundation.
Six scholarships of $1,500 each was offered in 2012. This scholarship is offered annually
Selection criteria:
- agricultural post-graduate
- emphasis in agricultural business/commerce/trade
- strong academic record
- good leadership potential
- excellence in previous performance
Administration of Award Program
The program is administered by the AIC Foundation through its Education Committee.
How to Apply
Complete the AICF McRorie Memorial Scholarship application in full and provide all documentation
requested. All questions must be answered. If additional space is needed, use a separate sheet.
Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions and a letter from the university confirming
enrolment in your current program are required.
Letters of recommendation from faculty advisors are encouraged. Send the application along with the required documentation to:
