2017 Canada Entrance scholarships for international students
University of Victoria Canada
The university of Victoria Canada has continued to offer interesting scholarships for international students to attract students in high academic standing. The scholarship offer for international students ranges from $1,500 to $10,000.
For University of victor, the successful students must:
- Entering their first year in an undergraduate degree program at UVic and meet UVic’s academic and English proficiency requirements. See English Language Proficiency requirements
- A current secondary school student or have graduated within the last two years and have not attended a post-secondary institution
- Accepted to UVic with an admissions “A” average*
- Admitted to UVic a minimum of 32 International Baccalaureate points
- An international student studying at UVic on a Canadian study permit (changes to your citizenship status may effect your scholarship eligibility)
- Interim (current student)/ Final (graduated student) transcript to Undergraduate Admissions by required deadline: February 28th
Please note:International secondary school graduates must have graduated within two years of applying to UVic and have not taken any courses at any post-secondary institutions.

Entrance scholarships for International students
The entrance scholarships are awarded to academically outstanding international students entering the first year of an undergraduate program at the University of Victoria.
The international IB Scholarships for International students
International Students in the International Baccalaureate program with a minimum of 32 points can apply for this scholarship and are guaranteed a minimum Entrance Scholarship of $1,500 CDN, provided they send in interim/final IB scores by February 28 to Undergraduate Admissions. It is also important to note that Canadian citizens at secondary school outside of Canada must send in expected IB marks to be assessed for an IB scholarship by February 28 of the year of admission to Undergraduate Admissions.
President’s Beyond Borders Fund for International Students
The university of Victoria Canada offers three grants worth $5,000 are awarded to academically outstanding international students from the Asia Pacific region entering an undergraduate program
To apply for this scholarship, you must be a citizens of any of the following Asia Pacific regions : Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, East Timor, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Federated States of Micronesia, Kiribati, Nauru, New Zealand, Cook Islands, Niue, Tokelau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Marshall Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga, Tuvalu, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, American Samoa, Fiji, French Polynesia, Guam, New Caledonia, Northern Marian Islands, North Korea, Wallis and Futuma, Mongolia, Taiwan.

Queens University Automatic Admission Entrance Scholarships
If you are admitted to Queens university Canada, you will be automatically considered on a number of scholarships. Both Canadian and International students are considered for this scholarship:
Senator Frank Carrel Merit Scholarship- $20,000
This scholarship is renewable for 4 years at $5,000 per year. Students must have a 92% average from their high school diploma.
Number of scholarships to award: 8
Principal’s Scholarship – $6,000
This scholarship is for one year only. Students must have a 95% average from their high school diploma. Number of scholarships to award: unlimited
Dean’s Admission Scholarship for Bachelor of Arts and Science-$2,000
This scholarship is for one year only. Students must have a a minimum of 88% average from their high school diploma. Number of scholarships to award: unlimited
Excellence Scholarship-$2,000
This scholarship is for one year only. Students must have a a minimum of 90% average from their high school diploma. Number of scholarships to award: unlimited
