The University of Toronto Canada under the auspices of the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) offers PhD Scholarships/ fellowships to PhD Candidates in Economics and social science majors.
The PhD degree scholarship awards are restricted to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. The value of the awards ranges from $35,000 per year for a PhD student .
Method of application for the 2016 PhD Scholarship in Economics
Applications are completed online and submitted to the Department.
