The Jewish scholarship is a renewable scholarship
The International Doctoral Scholarship for Jewish studies was established to encourage students to undertake in-dept studies related to Jewish cultures. The intention is also to help train qualified individuals for careers in Jewish scholarship and research.
Eligibility for the International Doctoral Scholarship for Jewish studies
The Jewish studies scholarship is available to any graduate student specializing in a Jewish field who is officially enrolled or registered
in a doctoral program at a recognized university.
Please note that the your PhD dissertation must have been approved to be eligible to apply for this scholarship
The applicant must submit documentation of the university’s approval no later than November 15th.
Grants are given for one academic year. They can be renewed, upon submission of a new
application and supporting documents, up to a maximum of four years. All applications,
including renewals, must be submitted before October 31st
