The Back-to-the-Books Scholarship for women is provided by Downers Grove Area Branch AAUW. This is an annual scholarship awarded annually in NOVEMBER FOR USE IN THE FIRST QUARTER OR SEMESTER AFTER JANUARY 1.
Eligibility
- Woman who has resumed higher education after at least a three-year absence
- Full-time student enrolled at an accredited college/university*
- Within two years of completion of Bachelor or Graduate Degree or within one year of completion of an Associates Degree*
- Resident of Downers Grove, Darien, Lisle, Westmont, or Woodridge
The application deadline for the 2019 school year will be in October of 2018
