We are seeking a highly motivated Ph.D. student tojoin the newly established lab of Dr. Bronwyn Barkla in Plant Science atSouthern Cross University to work on a project investigating abiotic stresstolerance in crops and model stress tolerant plants employing proteomicsand lipidomics approaches. The successful candidate will have experience inone or more of the following areas; molecular biology, proteinbiochemistry, proteomics, lipidomics or related fields, and will beexpected to conduct high-quality, independent research. Above all, thecandidate will be ambitious and motivated, being able to demonstrateenthusiasm and insight for the project. The project is open to interestedstudents from outside the plant science area who have suitable biochemistrybackground.

The candidate must hold, a Master byResearch Degree (or must be finishing a Master degree) or equivalentdiploma, and must have an exceptional academic record. Experience inresearch is essential.
