The 2025 World Economic Forum (WEF) Early Career Program is now open to applications, offering 15 unique internship opportunities for aspiring young leaders. This program provides a platform for early professionals to engage directly with global political, business, and civil society leaders—building meaningful projects, partnerships, and initiatives aimed at shaping a better future.
The World Economic Forum, as the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation, is dedicated to improving the state of the world. Through both digital and in-person collaboration, the Forum addresses industry, regional, and systemic challenges on a global scale.
About the Early Career Program
The Early Career Program is designed for dynamic young professionals who bring diverse experiences, skills, and perspectives. Participants will contribute to the Forum’s mission by engaging with global stakeholders, developing expert knowledge, and supporting the Forum’s strategic operations.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree with up to 2 years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated interest in project/program management, leadership development, or community management
- Strong writing skills for professional audiences, with experience in digital publishing and/or content creation
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent professional writing abilities
- Comfortable with digital collaboration tools and proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is an added advantage
Program Benefits
- Full-time, on-site employment contract (6 months) at the World Economic Forum headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland
- Flexible start dates between September 1 and October 15, 2025
- Monthly compensation: CHF 4,400 total (CHF 4,050 base salary + CHF 350 health benefits)
- Provision of technological equipment (laptop and mobile phone)
