2026 World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship | Fully Sponsored
The World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship is a pioneering initiative designed to help governments unlock the potential of their vast, but often underutilized, data resources. By combining in-person training, in-service support, and mentorship from senior experts at the World Bank and University College London, the program equips fellows with cutting-edge tools to strengthen data-driven decision-making in public administration.
This fully sponsored fellowship covers travel, accommodation, and subsistence expenses for selected fellows, ensuring that participants from diverse backgrounds can focus entirely on learning and implementing impactful government analytics projects.
Drawing on insights from the Government Analytics Handbook, fellows gain access to both academic expertise and practical knowledge to enhance government efficiency and evidence-based policymaking.
Fellowship Duration

Total Duration: 6 months

In-Person Training: 2 intensive weeks in Washington, D.C. (fully sponsored by the World Bank)
Eligibility Requirements for the 2026 World Bank Fellowship
Applicants must:

Be able to travel to Washington, D.C. for in-person sessions.

Be nominated by their organization (up to 2 fellows per organization).

Work in central government organizations (including agencies).

Hold a mid-level management or senior analyst role (or equivalent) with authority to design or implement a government analytics project.

Have completed tertiary-level coursework in statistics or related quantitative methods.

Be proficient in English.
