About the Programme
The MSc in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence is a one-year structured full-time Master’s degree at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. The program provides:

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold by the time of enrolment one of the following qualifications:
- An Honours degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Mathematical Statistics
- A four-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- An NQF Level 8 qualification in a closely related field
- In addition, applicants must demonstrate:
- Proficiency in Python or an equivalent programming language
- Comfort with numerical linear algebra, vector calculus, probability theory, and basic statistics
- Recommended but not required: Completion of an introductory course in machine learning
