NNPC/SNEPCo Scholarship 2025 – ₦250,000 Annual Grant for Nigerian Undergraduates
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited and Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo), in partnership with their co-venture partners, invite applications for the 2025 NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship.
This scholarship aims to promote academic excellence and support young Nigerian talents by offering an annual grant of ₦200,000 from the second year of study until graduation.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the 2025 NNPC/SNEPCo Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen.
- Be currently enrolled in second year of full-time undergraduate study at a Nigerian university accredited by the NUC.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale or equivalent.
- Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship from the oil and gas sector, either locally or internationally.
Female students are strongly encouraged to apply.
Scholarship Benefits
Annual grant of ₦250,000 for the duration of the undergraduate program.
Required Documents
Applicants must upload clear scanned copies of the following documents:
- Recent passport photograph (JPEG, max 200KB)
- University or JAMB admission letter
- UTME result
- O’Level results and A-Level/OND/NCE results (if applicable)
- Letter of identification from state of origin (showing LGA)
- Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) result from first year (minimum of 2 semesters completed)
- Signed Government Official Declaration Form

- Check your email to activate your account.
- Log in and complete your profile with personal, academic, and other required information.
- Upload all necessary documents, ensuring clarity and correctness.
- Upload a passport photo with a white background.
- Review your application thoroughly before submitting.
- Click "Apply Now" to submit.
- You will receive a confirmation email and SMS upon successful submission.
- Log back in, download your profile, and have it signed by your Head of Department (HOD).
- Upload the signed copy for verification.
Note: Multiple applications will result in automatic disqualification.
