Since its start in 2013, the program has helped hundreds of African women build their academic and leadership skills at top Spanish institutions.
Eligibility Criteria for Learn Africa Scholarship 2025
To qualify, you must:
- Be a woman of African nationality and currently residing in an African country
- Be enrolled at an African university or hold a university degree from an African institution
- For postgraduate scholarships, possess a relevant Bachelor’s degree (requirements may vary by scholarship)
- Meet the specific criteria of the scholarship you’re applying for (check each listing carefully)
- Apply for only one scholarship opportunity
Technical & Academic Requirements:
- Submit legalized, certified, and translated copies of your academic records and degree
- Provide a certificate from your university proving you’re qualified for the intended studies
- If applying for an online scholarship: ensure you have a reliable computer, internet, webcam, and necessary apps (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
Language Requirements:
- Prove your language proficiency through an official certificate or a phone interview
- Be prepared to communicate in the scholarship’s language (Spanish, English, or as specified)
