Fully Funded PhD Opportunity in Translational Psychiatry – Study in Germany (2026 Intake)

Applications are now open for the fully funded PhD program at the International Max Planck Research School for Translational Psychiatry (IMPRS-TP). The program begins in April 2026 in Munich, Germany, and offers 12 fully financed positions—with no tuition fees.

Eligibility Criteria

Selection Criteria
The selection process for the IMPRS-TP PhD program involves several stages:
- Review of submitted documents – including academic transcripts, personal essays, and CV
- Assessment of letters of recommendation
- Evaluation of alignment with the program’s research groups and focus areas
- Final interviews conducted between March and May 2026
If applicable, travel and accommodation costs for the interview process will be fully covered by IMPRS-TP
