Eligibility Criteria for the 2026 DAAD STEM Scholarship

- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Natural Sciences)
- Have completed your undergraduate degree no more than six years before the application deadline
- Demonstrate proficiency in English or German
- Not have lived in Germany for more than 15 months at the time of the application deadline
- Show above-average academic performance
- Have already applied (or plan to apply) to a tuition-free Master's program at a state-recognized university in Germany

- Letter of recommendation from a university professor (using DAAD template)
