2025 Federal Government Bursary Award – Now Open for Application
The Federal Ministry of Education is delighted to announce the 2025 Federal Government Bursary Award, aimed at supporting eligible Nigerian students in public tertiary institutions.
This annual award offers a cash grant of ₦150,000 to each selected applicant currently enrolled in a university or college of education in Nigeria.

Eligibility Criteria for the 2025 Federal Government Bursary Award
To qualify for the Federal Government Bursary (FSB) 2025, applicants must:
- Be registered students studying Education in a recognized Nigerian University or College of Education.
- Be full-time students of these institutions.
- Be in their second year of study or above, including persons with disabilities.
- Not currently benefiting from any other scholarship or bursary.
Bursary Benefits
- Each selected student will receive a ₦150,000 cash award per academic year.
- The award is renewable annually until the recipient completes their program of study.
