Requirements for UGHE Nursing Scholarship
To be considered for the UGHE Nursing Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program
- 5–7 years of experience as a registered nurse (RN)
- Current employment as an RN
- A non-restricted RN practice license
- Proficiency in English
- Notarized copies of academic documents from an accredited institution

- 100% tuition fees

- Transportation to and from UGHE’s Butaro campus

To apply, candidates must submit the following documents:
- Letter of support for graduate study from the current employer
- Two professional references
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Statement of purpose essay outlining interest in nursing leadership
- Personal interview with UGHE graduate faculty
- Proof of proficiency in English
- Notarized copies of academic documents from an accredited institution
- Completed application with notarized academic documents.
