Study in Slovakia on a Fully Funded Government Scholarship!

The Ministry of Education, Research, Development, and Youth of the Slovak Republic is now accepting applications for its fully funded scholarship program for international students. This initiative is aimed at attracting outstanding students from around the world to pursue full-time undergraduate or postgraduate studies in Slovakia.

About the Scholarship

This prestigious scholarship supports international students pursuing:

Bachelor’s degrees
Combined Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees
Master’s degrees

Eligible programs must align with the Smart Specialisation Strategy of the Slovak Republic (SK RIS3 2021+). Courses are available in both Slovak and foreign languages, with exact offerings depending on the chosen university and program.

Who Can Apply?

International students of any nationality who:

Plan to study full-time in Slovakia
Are applying to eligible undergraduate or master’s programs
Have achieved a minimum SAT score of 1100 (the main selection criterion)

Selection Process

Primary evaluation is based on the SAT score (1100 or higher)
Additional factors may include academic background and relevance to eligible fields

Scholarship Benefits

Monthly stipend of EUR 500

Up to EUR 15,000 total depending on program duration
3 years for Bachelor’s or Joint Bachelor + Master’s
2 years for Master’s programs
Tuition coverage (free or low-cost, based on the program)
Public health insurance access (upon request)
Participation in Erasmus+ and other academic mobility programs
Funded through European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) and the Slovak state budget
