Additionally, it offers support for up to 12 months of overseas internship attachment.
About the A*STAR ACIS Scholarship
The A*STAR Computing and Information Science (ACIS) Scholarship is designed to attract top-tier talent seeking to pursue a PhD in computing and information science (CIS) disciplines. Scholars will engage in impactful research addressing real-world challenges, spanning fields such as deep learning in healthcare, advanced data analytics, and complex modelling and simulation.
The scholarship provides full funding for up to four years at autonomous universities in Singapore, along with a monthly stipend to support living expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Singapore ACIS Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be Singaporean or an international applicant.
- Hold, or be on track to complete, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an autonomous university.
- Achieve at least a Second Upper Class Honours (2:1) or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Final-year undergraduate students may apply but must meet academic requirements upon graduation.
- Gain admission to a PhD programme in an autonomous university in Singapore.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a CIS research career in areas such as industry R&D labs, tech enterprises, spin-off ventures, or academia.

Successful recipients will receive comprehensive support for up to four years, including:
