Are you passionate about Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning? The 2025 RAIN Scholarship Program offers an incredible opportunity to receive up to ₦7.7 million in tuition support, alongside hands-on technical training, mentorship, and real-world project experience in Nigeria.
Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Nigeria (RAIN) is now accepting applications for its renowned one-year and two-year intensive programs in:
- Robot Development & Automation (RDA)
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML)
- Combined RDA + AIML Program
These programs are designed to train a new generation of innovators in Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies—equipping them to build solutions for real-world challenges across Nigeria and West Africa.
Eligible Fields of Study:
- Robotics
- Artificial Intelligence
- Machine Learning
- Automation
- Engineering
- Computer Science
- Mathematics
- Physical Sciences
- Computing
Academic & Technical Requirements:
- Recent graduates, preferably with a First-Class degree (though others may apply)
- Strong academic references
- Demonstrated programming experience (Python, C++, C)
- Must provide your own laptop (16GB RAM, Core i7 or equivalent)
- Must arrange own accommodation in Ibadan, Nigeria
Citizenship/Residency:
Open to legally eligible applicants in Nigeria and West Africa
Non-Nigerian applicants residing in the region are welcome
Selection Process
Top applicants will be shortlisted based on:
- Post engagement on social media
- A compelling 2-minute video introduction
- Final interview, where shortlisted candidates must present:
- A detailed CV/resume
- Two letters of recommendation addressed to the RAIN Director
- Academic transcripts
- Proof of coding experience (e.g. GitHub, project samples)
- Additional documents as requested
Note: Applicants without university degrees who show exceptional potential are encouraged to apply.
