NNPC/Chevron Scholarship 2025: Application Now Open

The NNPC/Chevron Joint Venture is now accepting applications for its 2025 University Scholarship Programme. This annual scholarship awards ₦200,000 to eligible full-time Nigerian undergraduate students in accredited universities across the country.

This initiative, a collaboration between Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) and its Joint Venture (JV) partner, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), aims to promote education through strategic social investment.

Who Can Apply?

The scholarship is open to SECOND-YEAR (200 LEVEL) students admitted in the 2023/2024 academic session and studying any of the approved courses listed below.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a full-time undergraduate in a Nigerian university.
Must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale (or its equivalent).
Must have at least six O’level credits in one sitting.

Special Category: For Blind/Visually Impaired Students

Second-year blind or visually impaired students studying any course in Nigerian universities are also eligible.

Eligibility Requirements for Visually Impaired Applicants:

Minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 5.0 scale (or equivalent).
At least five O’level credits.

Scholarship Benefits

A yearly award of ₦200,000, renewable until graduation for all selected candidates.
