Memorial University Masters Scholarship 2025 (Fully Funded | Canada)
The Departments of Earth Science and Process Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, are offering fully funded Master’s scholarships for international students to conduct research in geological carbon storage.
The scholarship covers full tuition fees, living stipend, and health insurance, making it an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates to pursue a Master’s degree in Canada. The program will begin in either September 2025 or January 2026.
Successful candidates will study in-person at Memorial University, St. John’s, Newfoundland, under the supervision of Dr. Karem Azmy and Dr. Lesley James.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must:

Hold a BSc in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Geological) or Science (Geochemistry, Geology, Chemistry, Surface Chemistry), with a focus on experimentation, modeling, or simulation

Have a strong academic and research background; exceptional applicants from related fields may also be considered

Submit a valid English proficiency certificate (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL) if the previous degree was not taught in English

Ensure all transcripts and certificates are in English
