About the NTUST Scholarship
NTUST invites international applicants to apply for its Master’s and Doctoral programs for Spring 2026. With strong academic foundations, modern facilities, and global industry connections, NTUST equips students with the tools to thrive in both academia and the job market.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the NTUST Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Hold foreign citizenship and must not have previously studied in Taiwan as Overseas Chinese Students
- Dual citizens with ROC nationality must meet specific Ministry of Education (MOE) guidelines
- Stateless individuals are not eligible
- Hold the required academic qualifications:
- High school diploma (for undergraduate applicants)
- Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s applicants)
- Master’s degree (for Doctoral applicants)
- Not have studied in Taiwan for more than one year (unless in MOE-approved institutions)
- Submit certified academic transcripts and diplomas translated into English or Chinese if issued in another language
Scholarship Benefits
International students may be eligible for the following funding options:
- Taiwan Scholarship: Full tuition + Monthly living stipend
- NTUST Scholarship: Full tuition + Monthly stipend of NT$18,000
- ASUS Scholarship: Full tuition + Monthly stipend of NT$12,000 + Travel allowance + Job opportunity after graduation
- International Dual Doctoral Degree Scholarship: Full tuition + Monthly stipend of NT$20,000
- General Financial Aid: Up to NT$20,000
