One scholarship shall be awarded per year. In general, awards will range between $2,000 and $5,000. Awards are nonrenewable and shall be made payable to the educational institution, company or not-for-profit entity delivering the education or training. Awards will not be made in the form of a reimbursement to the student.
Rene Sebus was a highly cherished member of PB&J Restaurants, Inc. whose legacy included advocacy for the advancement of women. This Fund was established to honor Rene by sustaining her advocacy of women through scholarships for qualified, female PB&J employees seeking to participate in educational opportunities with potential to propel and advance their careers.
Eligibility:
PB&J Restaurants, Inc. employees who are eligible to apply for this award shall:
Be female.
Have worked a minimum of one (1) year for PB&J Restaurants, Inc.
Be a current employee of PB&J Restaurants, Inc. at the time of application.
Be able to articulate in an application the type of educational advancement or training she will pursue if awarded the grant and how she envisions applying it to advance her career.
Application must be accompanied by literature created by the educational institution, company or not-for-profit entity delivering the education or training for which the applicant is seeking scholarship support.
