2025 University of Rwanda Fully Funded EAC Regional Centre of Excellence Scholarship
The University of Rwanda is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2025 EAC Regional Centre of Excellence (RCE) Scholarships. These fully funded scholarships are available to African students who wish to pursue a Master’s degree in various fields related to regional development and healthcare systems.
This initiative, hosted at the East African Community (EAC) Regional Centre of Excellence for Vaccines, Immunization and Health Supply Chain Management (RCE-VIHSCM), supports highly qualified candidates committed to advancing health outcomes across Africa.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive comprehensive support including:
- Tuition coverage of €6,000 for the entire duration of the program
- Return economy-class airfare to and from Kigali, Rwanda for in-person sessions
- Daily living allowance of €60 (or equivalent in Rwandan Francs) to cover accommodation, meals, and local transportation during your stay in Rwanda

- Master’s in Health Supply Chain Management (MHSCM) – 40 Scholarships
- MSc in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance (MPAQA) – 28 Scholarships
- MSc in Vaccinology (MVAX) – 28 Scholarships
- MSc in Medical Products Regulatory Affairs (MPRA) – 28 Scholarships
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must meet the minimum academic and professional entry requirements for the desired program.

- Open to citizens of East African Community (EAC) member states and other African countries.

To apply for the University of Rwanda’s EAC RCE Scholarship:
- Visit the official University of Rwanda website.
- Go to the Admissions section and click on the Applicant Portal.
- Select “New Application” to begin.
- Fill in the Biographical Information Form and click “Save.”
- You will receive a Student ID Reference Number—keep this safe, as it is required for future steps.
