Scholarships for MA/MSc in Transport

Applications are invited from UK, EU and international candidates to pursue postgraduate study of one of the following programmes:

  • MA Transport Economics
  • MSc Sustainability (Transport)
  • MSc Transport Planning
  • MSc Transport Planning and the Environment
  • MSc (Eng) Transport Planning and Engineering

The transport sector continues to need people with the right skills and training. Students progress from these programmes to a range of graduate-level jobs including those in consultancy, government, transport operators, not-for-profit and international agencies. ITS supports this via our close links with employer organisations.

Admissions requirements

Applicants should have, or be expecting to achieve, a good honours degree in a relevant discipline.? It is not a requirement to have studied transport at undergraduate level, but applicants must be able to demonstrate their subject interest.? International students are encouraged to apply, subject to competence in English language (IETLS 6.5 or equivalent).?


The programmes are accredited by professional bodies in the transport sector, such as the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Institution of Highways and Transportation (IHT), and Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport (CILT UK).
