Postgraduate Research Studentship The Geographies of Gendered Space Use in Delhi

The Department of Geography at the Open University invites applications for a full-time PhD studentship for three years commencing October 2013.  

You will be part of an international research team undertaking a HERA funded project examining the cultural geographies of gendered space in Delhi, with a particular interest in an ethnographic understanding of the mobility of single women in the city.

You should have at least a 2:1 for your first degree, or equivalent, and have undertaken a relevant honours or masters degree, with training in ethnographic, mobile and/or visual methods.

Please note that residency requirements apply to this studentship.
