Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Microfluidics for SIRNA Screening



We are seeking a full-time/part-time postdoctoral research assistant to join Osney research group at the Department of Engineering Science Osney. The post is funded by UCSF and is fixed-term to 31 June 2017.

You will be responsible for development of a new microfluidic approach to enable screening of cell based assays, e.g. siRNA. You will work closely with biologists to implement such a screening on small volumes of fluids and provide foundational data that compares the results with conventional well plates assays.

You should possess experience in microfluidics/design/engineering/biotechnology and ideally have, or be in the final stages of obtaining, a PhD.
