Research: Applications are sought for a PhD candidate to join a growing group in supply risk analysis at Strathclyde Business School. The research relates to a major collaborative research programme with Bristol, Coventry and Nottingham Universities that has been awarded by the Engineering and Physical Science Research Council (EPSRC) on supply network resilience. This project will investigate through a Game Theory lens ways of managing strategic risks during complex Supply Network (SN) design when there are multiple, active decision makers whose interests might be in (partial) conflict. This project will give the student a great opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team and to make linkages across Strathclyde and numerous industry sectors.

Requirements: Candidates are required to have an excellent Honours (Undergraduate) degree in a numerical subject, including but not limited to Economics, Operational Research, Management Science, Mathematics, or Engineering. Candidates with a Master’s degree (or equivalent) will be strongly preferred.
