PhD position in Experimental Physics with focus on nanostructured materials for solar cells

The Marie Curie Initial Training Network AEOLUS4FUTURE invites applications for 1 full-time research positions for Early Stage Researchers (ESR). Details about  AEOLUS4FUTURE can be found here.

Steel Structure includes innovative design of steel and composite structures, construction techniques and contributes to the continuous improvement of standards and regulations.

The ESR project will deal with High strength steel hybrid towers for wind turbines. The major objective is to develop a competitive solution using newly developed knowledge on friction connections, optimal cross-sections of hybrid tower consisting of tubular and lattice sections using high performance steel and bolted connections.

Researchers applying for any of the advertised ESR positions must (at the time of recruitment) be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers and do not have a doctoral degree.

This is measured from the date when they obtained the degree which would formally entitle them to embark on a doctorate, either in the country in which the degree was obtained or in the country in which the research training is provided.

Researchers can be of any nationality.
