The Hamburg Centre for Ultrafast Imaging (CUI)

The Hamburg Centre for Ultrafast Imaging (CUI) is a Cluster of Excellence funded by the German Federal Government. The Cluster is based on the unique research envir onment of Hamburg and involves the University of Hamburg and its partners, the MPG, DESY, XFEL, and EMBL. We invite applications for Ph.D. and Postdoc Positions in the core areas of CUI:

A. Imaging and Control of Quantum Systems
B. Atomically Resolved Structural Dynamics
C. Dynamics of Order Formation on the Nanoscale

CUI combines research projects in physics, chemistry, and biology at the forefront of international research and offers a rich and comprehensive course programme.

We invite highly qualified and motivated candidates to apply. PhD applicants should hold a Master of Science in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology depending on the project. The university intends to increase the number of women amongst its academic personnel and expressly encourages qualified women to apply.
